William Rodger “Bill” Grego, Jr., 69, of Washington, died July 3, 2021, in his home. He was born July 30, 1951, in Washington, a son of the late William R. Grego, Sr., and Betty Jane Yurkas Grego. Mr. Grego graduated from Trinity High School and served in the National Guard. He worked as an owner/operator of a Matco Tool franchise for 15 years, and for 30 years, worked as a mechanic for Three Rivers BMW. Mr. Grego’s hobbies included watercolor painting, playing the guitar, and woodworking. On October 10, 1970, he married Linda Baumgardner, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Alysa (Jason) Avolia and Carla (Eric) Burt, both of Washington; a brother, Russell (Janean) Grego of Washington; four sisters, Cecelia Samreny of Pittsburgh, Glenna (Brice) Carter of Florida, Gretchen (Ray) Clore of Eighty Four, and Jill Grego Ellis of Washington; four grandchildren, Julian and Aidan Avolia, and Brandon and Malia Burt; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 8th, from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
