Willard H. “Bill” King, 90, of Washington, died April 13, 2021, with his loving family by his side, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born August 12, 1930, in Washington, the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Schroeder King. Bill attended Washington High School and owned and operated King & Sons Hardwood Flooring and was a self-employed carpenter. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He served from 1951-1954 during the Korean Conflict, reaching the rank of Sargent. Bill was a member of Washington Sportsmen’s Club. He was passionate about trap shooting, and an avid hunter, and fisherman. He was Methodist by faith. On February 28, 1958, Bill married Lorraine J. “Lori” Rodsky, who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, are sons, William “Bill” (Lynne) King of Washington, and Chad (Jess) King of Cecil; grandchildren, Kristen, and Olivia King; step-grandchildren, Regan, Connor, Nicholas, and Kelsey Adamski; and nephew, Casey (Ashley) King. Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Scotty” (Sandy) King. Bill will reach his final resting place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. All services are private.
