Valerie Danyell Miller, 46, of Amwell Township, died November 6, 2021. She was born November 21, 1974, at the USAF Hospital in Clovis, New Mexico, a daughter of the late Gordon Miller, Sr., and Carla Pryor Miller. Some of her childhood was spent in Bradenton, Florida, and she lived in Washington County from her teen years to present. Valerie graduated from Trinity High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania, where she studied to become a licensed practical nurse. Valerie was very much a family girl and enjoyed spending time with family and close friends, going to the cabin, singing karaoke, and hanging out by the bonfire. She also loved going to flea markets and thrift stores, and attending festivals, especially Pike Days since she could shop at yard sales with her sisters-in-law and their families along Route 40. Valerie enjoyed family vacations to Disney World, Mexico, and Tennessee, and especially loved going on cruises. She loved children and loved watching her nephews, niece and grandchildren grow up. Valerie enjoyed scanning Facebook to see pictures of family and friends and their families. Having a heart of gold, Valerie was truly the friend you could call on, day or night. She would do anything she could to help a person, even if it was just sitting and listening for a while. Surviving are a son, Tyler (Kacey) McKinney; two brothers, Michael (Ashley) Miller and Gordon (Renee) Miller, Jr.; stepson, Randy McKinney; stepdaughter, Melissa (Anthony) Franell; grandchildren, Anthony, Nycere, Honesty and Heavenly; a niece, Brooklyn Miller; and two nephews, Dylan Miller and Peyton Miller. Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a son, Cody Carl Miller. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 5-6pm, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.
