Rebecca Ann Thomas

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Thomas, 67, of Bulger, formerly of Prosperity, died on November 19, 2021, in her home. She had waged a valiant battle with COPD for eight years. Becky was born on July 11, 1954, in Lorain, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert Keith and Betty Lou Chase Allen. She was a graduate of McGuffey High School. An extremely talented artist, Becky loved art and antiquing, and she loved her dog, Gouda, but her greatest joy in life was her beautiful grandchildren. On December 15, 1973, she married Robert Joe Thomas, Sr., who died on July 19, 2017. Surviving are her two children, Robert Joe Thomas, Jr., of Mill Run, PA, and Michelle (Matthew) Gaines, of Bulger; eight siblings, David Allen, of Washington, Liz (Darryl) Johnson, of Washington, Alice (Butch) Patterson, of Washington, Irma (Bill Phillips) Allen, of Washington, Robin (the late Larry) Haskey, of Ohio, Roy (Mary Lou) Allen, of Washington, Bill (Carrie) Allen, of Washington, and Linda (the late Johnny) Jones, of West Finley; ten grandchildren, Robert Lee Baltz, Shi (Zach Tharp) Thomas, Dylan Thomas, Matthew Gaines, Kristian Gaines, Logan Gaines, Maddex Gaines, Kaleigh Gaines, George Hunt, and Victoria Hunt; three great grandchildren, Aubrey Tharp, Braxton Baltz, and Averee Tharp; and her special friends and caregivers, Pam Schneider and Ashley Burd. Deceased is her dog, Lady. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Paul Whitmer and Gateway Hospice. Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., the time of service, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, with Pastor Sue Petritis officiating.
