Patrick S. Higgins

Patrick S. “Pat” Higgins, 76, of Washington, died Friday, April 1, 2022, in The Washington Hospital. He was born January 6, 1946, in Washington, a son of the late Wilburt and Meyrle Wade Higgins. Mr. Higgins graduated from Washington High School and worked in the shipping department at All Clad. He was a member of L.O.O.M 22 and enjoyed going to flea markets. His favorite hobbies included attending car shows and going to the drag strip, as he and his friends owned race cars. He also loved to sit at his koi pond and watch the fish. Surviving are a nephew, Michael Gheen (Jolene Chase); and a great-niece, Hayden, who regarded him as a pappy. Deceased are two brothers, James and John Higgins. Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 6th, from 4 till 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial in Washington Cemetery will be private.
