Pamela June Cole, 71, of Washington, died December 19, 2022, in her home. She was born August 31, 1951, in Washington, the daughter of the late James Leslie Brownlee and Dorothy May Theakston-Brownlee. A graduate of Trinity High School, she worked as a phlebotomist at Washington Hospital for 43 years. Pamela enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching. She liked reading, watching The Golden Girls, and movies on the Hallmark Channel. Pamela loved snowmen and listening to Christmas music. But mostly, she dearly loved her family. On March 25, 1989, Pamela married Patrick Cole, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Christen Cole, and Amanda (James) Rush; a brother, George (Diana) Brownlee; grandchildren, Austin, Kayla, Faith, Matthew, and Liam; nieces, Sandy (Doug) Narigon and Vicki (Max) Fender; and many other nieces and nephews. Preceding Pamela in death was a grandson, Christopher. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where the service will be held Wednesday, December 28, at 10 am, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Interment to follow in Woodruff Memorial Park.
