Nicholas Delsignore

Nicholas Delsignore, 82, of Washington, passed away February 2, 2021. He was born May 23, 1938, the son of Peter Delsignore and Mary Tudisco Delsignore. He was a longtime civil servant for Washington and Greene Counties, serving as Fiscal Officer for their mental health programs. Mr. Delsignore was a graduate of Trinity High School and Washington and Jefferson College where he was in the ROTC program. He served our Country in the Army at Fort Lee Virginia. Mr. Delsignore was a member of Chartiers Crossroads Church and American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175. A mason, he was a member of the Sunset Lodge, Scottish Rite, and the Shriners. Mr. Delsignore enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Domenick Delsignore and Angelo Delsignore. He is survived by his wife, Mary, whom he married July 14, 2007; his sister, Mary Stewart of Birmingham, Alabama; children, Debbie (Keith) Groves of Washington, Mark (Heidi) Delsignore of Claysville, Edward (Tracy) Kelley and Michael (Tammy) Kelley, both of Washington, and Lorelei Kelley of Delaware; grandchildren, David (Sally) Groves, Anthony (Annie) Groves, Nathan Delsignore, Adam (Jessica) Beckner, Jordan (Suzy) Beckner, Jesse Delsignore, Amanda Kelley, Ethan Kelley, Devin Kelley, Michael Kelley and Logan Kelley; great-grandchildren, Emma Groves, Isabella Groves, Abigail Beckner, Rylan Beckner, Raleigh Beckner and Harper Kelley; and many nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington City Mission, 84 West Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301.
