Nancy E. Hatfield

Nancy E. Hatfield, 64, of Washington, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Donnell House. She was born on August 14, 1956, in Pittsburgh, preceded in eternal rest by her loving parents Francis C. "Cliff" and Catherine Carson. Nancy was a graduate of Bethel Park High School. She retired from Friendship Village following more than twenty years as a supervisor. On June 14, 2006, Nancy married her loving husband of fifteen years, Kenneth B. Hatfield, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Amy (Aaron) Bashore; stepson Kenneth (Sara Holmes) Hatfield III; stepdaughters, Victoria Hatfield, and Chelsea Hatfield, as well as her wonderful grandbabies, AJ, Allison, Adeline, Paxton, Wyatt, Tyler, and Izabella. Nancy was a wonderful soul, who loved everyone she met. She was an absolute warrior, who beat cancer twice, and finally lost the battle when it returned for a third time. Her smile and caring heart will be missed by all whose life she touched. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 20, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington PA, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 21, 2021, with Pastor Michael Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
