Mark Eugene Hunter

Mark Eugene Hunter, 46, of Washington, died unexpectedly August 10, 2021, at his home. He was born on December 31, 1974, in Washington, the son of the late John “Lee” Leroy and Karen Vorhes Hunter. Mark was a 1993 graduate of Grace Bible Christian School and Penn Commercial with an associate degree in Electronics. He was a long-time employee of Marstrand Industries where he was a machinist. Mark was a long-time former member of Washington Alliance Church, and current member of Friendship Community Church. He was very active in the church, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Much of his time was spent volunteering with the youth group and AWANA clubs at the churches he attended, as well as participating in the church dartball league. He is survived by brothers, James Douglas Hunter of Washington, and John Robert (Julee) Hunter, of Helena, Montana, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee Hunter. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend, please meet at the West Middletown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
