Margaret "Peg" A. Winters, 83, of Washington, died on December 22, 2022, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born on April 18, 1939, in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Miller Brennan. Peg was a graduate of Quaker Valley High School. Mrs. Winters had worked for more than ten years as a physical therapy assistant. A very active person, Peg loved going to the Wellness Center to workout, and especially enjoyed swimming and water aerobics. She also enjoyed walking with her friends. You could often find her working in her flower gardens or watching sports on television, especially baseball and football. On April 9, 1955, she married the love of her life, David Robert Winters, who died on October 7, 2020. Surviving are five sons, Edward (Pam) Winters, of Washington, Douglas Winters, of Washington, David Winters, of West Alexander, Robert (the late Shirley) Winters, of Carmichaels and Daniel (Irene) Winters, of Washington; a brother, Edward (the late Ann) Brennan, of Ambridge; eight grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Jamie, Shannon, Isabella, Michelle, Jake and Justin; three great grandchildren, Madeline, Winnie and William; and her former daughter-in-law, Rhonda Winters. Deceased are two brothers, Michael James Brennan and Terrance Brennan. At the request of the deceased, all services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
