John Michael Luckett

John Michael Luckett, 67, of Waynesburg, died on May 12, 2023, in his home. He was born on October 14, 1955, in Wheeling, a son of the late Lena Hughes. Mr. Luckett was the former owner of Luckett Roofing and had also worked for Ross Mould. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, John enjoyed fishing, classic cars, and going to the casino. He loved all animals, especially his dogs, but most of all, he cherished the time he spent with friends and family. On September 7, 2002, he married Judy Marie Salisbury, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Bendy Holland, Jr.; three daughters, Jennifer Fisher, Jodie (Jessika) Holland, and Jessie (Jeremy) Coffman; a brother, Perry Cheek; four sisters, Linda Burns, Debbie Grew, Terry Bucy, and Penny Corso; six grandchildren, Emmy, Sarah, Anthony, Josie, Ethan, and Liam; a great grandchild, Jaece; an aunt, Connie McDonald, who raised him; as well as several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, John Luckett, Jr.; and two sisters, Jerry Lynn and Sherry Cheek. Friends and family are welcome on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 3 to 7 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023, with Jessika Holland officiating.
