Jennie Ackley

Jennie Ackley, 84, of Weirton WV, died July 1, 2022, in her home. She was born February 10, 1938, in Washington, the daughter of the late Louis and Netty Harshey Orison. Jennie was a homemaker and loved to play bingo and hand-held electronic games. She collected rings and loved wearing them. She had a sweet tooth and some of her favorites were strawberry pie and mallow cups. Shopping and going out to dinner were some of her favorite things to do. Surviving are sons, Kenny Tustin, Floyd Weigner, and George Weigner (Denise); daughters, Laura Warman (Timothy), Flora Handerhan (Tom), Jennifer Servatius, and Carolyn Pawlish, Rachel Hatfield (Gary); brother, Louis Orison; grandchildren, Robin Warman, Josh Weigner, Timothy McGaffic, Holly Wilson, Zoey Ackley, Stephen Weigner, Isaac Weigner, Alex Cranston, Floyd Cranston, Gary Bails, Austin Bails, Fantasia Bails, Dominic Hatfield, Braydon Hatfeild, Tyler Marshall, Erika Marshall, Zachary Weigner, Dailynn Evans, Tyler Evans, Lillian Wilson, Luke Mabee, Leah Kennedy, Cory Cranston, Jude Kennedy, Evan Cranston; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Jennie in death was her first husband, Floyd Weigner, and second husband, Charles Ackley; daughter, Diane Orison; brothers, Budgie Orison, and Joe Nadock; and sisters, Elsie Boyer, Mae Roseberry, Minnie Bell Weigner, and Esther Williams. Friends will be received Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 12:00-1:30 pm, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.
