Frank David Bellotti, 88, of Washington, died December 7, 2021, in his home. He was born January 26, 1933, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Frank David Bellotti, Sr., and Mary Caputo Bellotti. A graduate of Trinity High School, Mr. Bellotti served in the Marines from January 28, 1953, until his honorable discharge on January 27, 1956, with a rank of Sergeant. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Bellotti worked as a manager for Giant Eagle, retiring after 36 years of service. He loved his dog, Sherman, and enjoyed building and flying line-control airplanes. On March 27, 1992, he married Carol Haynes, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Frank David Bellotti III and Tracy Bellotti, both of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; a stepson, Michael Swihart of Washington; two sisters, Ursula (James) Brodnick of Lake Worth, Florida and Diana Bell of Washington; two grandchildren, Shane (Sabrina) Bellotti and Carolyn (Tim) Gray; four great-grandchildren, Eva Bellotti, Chloe Roggin, Tanner Gray, and Jacob Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, John and James Bellotti. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Saturday, December 11th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
