Carol Ann Yanda

Carol Ann Yanda, 79, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at The Greenery. She was born June 6, 1941 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Daniel and Alma Samuels Horne. Carol graduated from Shaler High School and was a homemaker. On April 10, 1965, Carol married John L. Yanda, who survives. Also surviving are daughters Diane (Scott) Kafana of Washington, and Linda (John) Anthony of Irwin; a sister Sandy Horne of Gibsonia; grandchildren Haley, Morgan, and Gracyn Kafana, William and Evan Anthony; great-grandchildren Xander and Lexie; and several nieces and nephews. Carol was Methodist by faith. Her hobbies included crafts, shopping and baking. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Carol loved spending time with her friends and family. Due to Covid-19 restrictions all services are private.
