Joshua Ryan Lowery, 23, of Washington, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born October 9, 1985, in Washington, a son of James W. Horn and Cecelia Lowery Clark, both of Washington. Mr. Lowery attended Trinity High School. For five years, he had been employed as a bricklayer at Piatt Masonry and M & M Construction Co. He enjoyed video games, hockey, wrestling, fishing and football. Mr. Lowery was a member of Washington Wesleyan Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Jeremy M. Piatt of West Virginia; a sister, Jessica Piatt of Washington; a stepbrother, Jimmy Horn; three stepsisters, Courtney Piatt, Tiffany Piatt and Heather Horn; grandparents, William and Jean Horn; aunts and uncles, John and Carol Lowery, Belinda Lowery and Daniel Bazzoli; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a grandmother, Genevieve Lowery; and an uncle, Dario Bazzoli. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26th, with Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
