Aaron M. Gould, 26, of Portage, Indiana, formerly of Washington, died unexpectedly, Saturday, April 18, 2009, in his residence. He was born August 13, 1982, in Washington, a son of Thomas H. and Patricia L. Campbell Gould. Mr. Gould was a 2000 graduate of Trinity High School, where he had played on the lacrosse team, was president of the French Club and a member of the French Honor Society. During high school, he was also a Young Observer Newspaper Reporter for the Observer-Reporter paper and a member of Who’s Who of American High School Students. After graduating form high school, Mr. Gould attended Washington and Jefferson College for three years, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. In 2004, he became a member of Laborers International Union of North American, Local 81, and since that time had worked as a union laborer. Mr. Gould enjoyed writing, bowling and playing lacrosse, roller hockey and pool. In Portage, he was a member of Billiards Congress of America and the Screwball Pool Team at TJ Billiards. He was Protestant. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Jonathan T. Gould; grandparents, Thomas E. and Dorothy Gould of Washington and Julian "Chip" and Roberta Campbell of Monessen; many uncles, aunts and cousins, including uncles Michael (Lisa) Campbell and Jay Campbell; aunts Allison (Mike) Richards and Roberta Campbell, all of Indiana; and loving cousin, Jocelyn Campbell of Michigan, whom he referred to as his little sister. Also surviving is his loving companion, Michelle Gonzalas. He leaves behind his dog, Kingston. Deceased are grandmother, Arlene Berg Campbell; grandfather, Harry Stickle; uncle Doug Campbell; and a cousin Brianne Campbell. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 and 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 30 in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009.
