Retired union painter, farmer from Prosperity.
Chester Stanley Krenzelak, 79, of Prosperity, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005, in Washington Hospital. He was born August 26, 1926, in Washington, a son of Joseph and Frances Krenzelak. Mr. Krenzelak served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the American Theatre Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He retired after working for 30 years as a union painter and farmer. Mr. Krenzelak was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington. He enjoyed hunting. Surviving are a son, Stanley Krenzelak of Prosperity; two brothers, John Krenzelak of Washington and Carl Krenzelak of Prosperity; two sisters, Judy Norkus and Violet Krenzelak, both of Salem, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jason, Tisa, Seth and Logan; and two great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Zachary. A brother, William Krenzelak, is deceased.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Arrangements are under the direction of William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
