Adda Elizabeth Wise, 85, of Triadelphia, formerly of Claysville, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, in the home of her daughter, following a short illness. She was born in West Finley, on August 31, 1919, a daughter of Samuel and Christina Trussell Pattison. She was a member of the Christian Church. Mrs. Wise loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, and reading. On January 15, 1938, she married John R. Wise, who died on January 24, 2001. Surviving are four sons, John D. ( Ellen ) Wise of Lake Ellsinore ,CA , Robert F. ( Becky ) Wise of Washington, Tom ( Terry ) Wise of Redding, CA, Roy ( Donna ) Wise of Gun Powder, MD ; four daughters, Mae Kollar of Eighty-Four, Eilene ( Richard ) Blake of Triadelphia, with whom she made her home, Beverly Vahaly of Bentleyville, Cindy ( Don ) Eckert of Cabot, AR; a foster son, John ( Nancy ) Pattison of Claysville; a sister, Freda VanKirk of Washington; twenty-five grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by five brothers, William, Albert, Ollie, Earl, and Harry Pattison; two sisters, Rachael Bowman, May Taylor; two grandsons; and one grand daughter. Friends of Adda Elizabeth Wise, 85, of Triadelphia, formerly of Claysville, who died Saturday, July 30, 2005, will be received on Monday, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at 11:00 am, Rev. John Rasz officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
