Christine S. Mcvay

Christine S. McVay, 59, of Canonsburg, formerly of Claysville, died Thursday, October 7, 2010, in the Washington Hospital. She was born December 18, 1950, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Marian Lang McVay of Sebring, Ohio, and the late Robert Bell McVay, Jr. Ms. McVay attended United Cerebral Palsy. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a sister, Cheryl Simers of Minerva, Ohio; a niece, Emily Simers of Ohio; and a nephew, Adam Simers of Missouri. Friends will be received Monday from Noon to 1 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Peggy Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
