Stanley "Bo" Brewer, 64, of Washington, died at 12:20 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, in Washington Hospital. He had been ill since December 2005. He was born April 9, 1941, in Garards Fort, a son of the late Spencer Brewer and Hilda Donham Brewer Haines. Mr. Brewer was a truck driver for Dick Corp., retiring in November 2004. He was a junior governor in LOOM 22 and a member of Moose Legion, BPOE 776, FOE 687, Alpine Club and Teamsters Local 341. He enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and watching NASCAR and the Steelers. On April 13, 1963, in West Washington Methodist Church, he married Patricia Thompson, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Lee Michael Brewer of Washington; five brothers, Donald Brewer of Pittsburgh, Kenneth (Celena) Brewer of Okeechobee, Fla., Jerry (Susan) Brewer of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Charles Haines and Larry Haines, both of Washington; two grandchildren, Shane Michael Brewer and Ashley Elizabeth Brewer, and their mother, Barbara Brewer; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, James Brewer.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 3, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where Loyal Order of Moose will hold services at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liver Foundation.
