Karen Denise Adams, 53, of Washington, died Monday, April 19, 2010, in Washington Hospital, following a 28-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born July 5, 1957, in Washington, a daughter of Raymond and Olga Marra Thompson.
Mrs. Adams graduated from Washington High School and was a homemaker who enjoyed arts and crafts.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
On August 15, 1984, she married Darrell G. Adams, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeff (Phyllis) Wise of Rialto, California, and Chris Wise of Washington; a brother, Robert (Rita) Marra of Washington; four sisters, Sylvia Korte and Betty DeGiovanni, both of Washington, Kathy (Pat) Mondok of Pine Hurst, North Carolina, and Judy (Frank) Dombrowsky of The Villages, Florida; three grandchildren, Jarrad and Bella Wise, and Maiden Wise, known as her “Sunshine;” and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Richard Marra.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m, Thursday, April 22nd, in First Lutheran Church, corner of North Franklin and Walnut Streets, Washington, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating.
