Darla Novogradac

Darla Joy Mazzie Novogradac, 71, of Canonsburg, PA, born in Washington, PA on December 31, 1943, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Donald Novogradac; mother, Rose Mazzie; father, Arthur Mazzie; and brother, Robert Mazzie. She leaves to cherish her memory: her dear love, Jack Donovan; son, Brandon Novogradac (Lindsey); daughter, Kara Novogradac (Julian); stepson, Brian Novogradac (Catie); grandchildren Adele, Nadia, and Mason; and a host of treasured family and friends who will miss her dearly. Darla found wonderment in nature, joy in living, and happiness in being with others. She took pride in her work as a nurse, enjoyed singing in various community choirs throughout the years, and spread peace through volunteer work at Family Hospice. We will miss her irresistible laughter, her vibrant presence, and her spirited, steadfast love. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Darla’s life at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 21 Church Road, Scenery Hill, PA, 15360 on Friday, June 19th at 2 PM.
