Scot “Took” Stephens, 51, of Washington, died on Saturday, July 19, 2014, in the Donnell House.
He was born on July 21, 1962, in Washington, a son of the late Clair and Mary Ann Nofsker Stephens.
A graduate of Washington High School, he was Catholic by faith.
Mr. Stephens worked as an installer and loader for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
He was a member of the Arms Club, Independent Club and the Jessop Boat Club.
On September 5, 1987, he married Nancy White, who died on May 25, 2010.
Surviving are a son, Casey C. Stephens, of Washington; a daughter, Melissa (Evan) Long, of Moundsville, WV; a brother, Mark (Linda) Stephens, of Burke, VA; a sister, Lynn (Jeffrey) Watson, of Claysville; his companion, Nancy Norris, mother-in-law, Eileen Hartzog; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, July 21, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
At the request of the deceased, there will not be a service.
