Cynthia Lou Mcwhorter

Cynthia Lou McWhorter, 50, of Washington, died unexpectedly, December 28, 2013, in UPMC – Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. She was born October 13, 1963, in Washington, a daughter of the late Cecil H. and Bonnie L. Hartley Jackson. Mrs. McWhorter was a 1981 graduate of Trinity High School. She worked as a CNA at the Washington Hospital for 14 years. Mrs. McWhorter enjoyed camping, drawing and her dogs and cat. On April 5, 1986, she married Russell “Rusty” McWhorter, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Tad James McWhorter; a daughter, Kiley Elizabeth McWhorter; two brothers, Richard Jackson and Scott A. Jackson, all of Washington; two sisters, Corlea Jackson Ware of Washington and Sandra K. Sayre of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, December 31st, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
