Leslie E. Powell

Leslie E. Powell, 62, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly, Friday, March 29, 2013, She was born July 18, 1950 in Staten Island, NY, the daughter of late William Henel and Olive Hall Henel. She graduated from Waynesburg College with a teaching degree and was employed at the state hospital in child care and worked for better living conditions for the residents. She enjoyed reading, antiques, festivals and working out at curves. She was Episcopalian. Surviving are step two daughters, Treasa (Terry) Wrubleski of Washington and Rhonda Anderson of Altoona, PA; two grandchildren Cassandra and Tausha; a great grandson; Christopher; a nephew and niece, Christian F. and Katherine H. Henel. Deceased is a brother. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
