Anthony Cecchine, 73, of Washington, formerly of Marianna, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, in his residence.
He was born October 27, 1939, a son of the late Fred and Clara Cecchine.
Mr. Cecchine served in the National Guard and was a member of VFW Post 927 and American Legion Post 744 in Marianna.
He enjoyed playing guitar and singing.
Mr. Cecchine worked at Beth Energy Mine 58 for 25 years, 20 of which he worked as a foreman.
On October 28, 1988, he married Alice Bailey, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Anthony Cecchine of Chicago, Illinois, Kathy (Ray) Bogumit of Fredericktown, and Leigh Ann Cecchine of Washington; four stepchildren, Debbie (Paul) Zidermanis of San Antonio, Texas, and Robin (Kenneth) Huffman, James (Brenda) Pattison and Keith (Heather) Pattison, all of Washington; five brothers, John (Laureen) Cecchine and Fred (Jean) Cecchine, both of Marianna, Jim (Marge) Cecchine of Belton, Texas, Bob (Pat) Cecchine of Olmstead Falls, Ohio and Frank Cecchine of Eighty Four; grandchildren, Brittany and Zachary Bogumit, Jennifer Huffman, Brian and Brandon Clark, Nicole Barr, Katelyn Pattison, AJ Pattison, Amber Gallo, Payden and Caitlyn Brown, Anthony Pieron and Shonia Cecchine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a stepson, Kevin Pattison; and a grandson, Derek Huffman.
Friends will be received 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, December 15, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
