Kimberly Ann Copechal, 44, of Washington, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, in UPMC, Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on September 9, 1968, in Washington, a daughter of Robert L. Copechal, Sr., and the late Linda M. Clark Copechal-Matthews.
A graduate of Washington High School, she also graduated from Penn Commercial.
Ms. Copechal worked in medical billing and coding at the Washington Hospital.
Catholic by faith she also attended the Living Waters Church of God.
She was a devoted mother, who enjoyed decorating her home and spending time with her children. She was known as an independent spirit.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are her life partner, Randolph T. Lewis, Jr., of Washington; 2 daughters, Breeze Marie Lewis and Harmony Reign Lewis, both at home; a brother, Robert (Sherry) Copechal, Jr., of Washington; a stepbrother, Larry Campbell, of Bentleyville; a sister Michelle Cohen, of Washington; 2 step sisters, Tina (William) Puchi, of Washington; and Kara Adkins, of Allison Park; several nieces and nephews, including, Brittany Copechal; Jonathan, Lashelle Jonelle and Calin Cohen and Robert and Summer Ballentyne; her stepfather, Ernest Matthews, of Canonsburg, and stepmother, Terry Copechal, of Eighty-Four. She also leaves behind Wendy Ballentyne, who was like a sister to her.
Deceased, is her mother, Linda M. Clark Copechal-Matthews.
Friends will be received on Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave. Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., with Father Louis Pascazi officiating.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
