Connie Eileen Rogers, 70, of Washington, died Saturday, September 22, 2012, in Donnell House, following a one-year illness.
She was born September 22, 1942, a daughter of Everett R. and Myrtle Pattison Main.
Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker.
Mrs. Rogers worked at Candle Tree Farm, in the greenhouse, and as a floral designer. She also had been an aide in several local nursing homes, and a cook and server at a number of local restaurants.
She enjoyed making all types of crafts.
On November 17,1966, she married Dale Rogers, who died May 2, 1992.
Surviving are four sons, James (Donna) Rogers, of Washington, David Crowe and Richard Crowe (Tina), both of Jefferson City, Missouri, Mark Berisford, of Washington; a daughter, Julie Ann (Brian) Pattison, of Washington; a brother, Paul Main, of Florida; 2 sisters, Violet Pees and Roxie Hampson, both of Washington; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Brian, Renzi, Karaca, Jesse, Matthew, Courtney, and Shelby, one great grandchild, Baylee; and her companion of 17 years, Herb Chadwick.
Deceased are an infant son, Shane Rogers; brothers, Edward and William, Gene, Delbert “Bendo", and Richard “Peanuts” Main; and sisters, Darlene Wright, Ruth McQuay, and Lois Martin.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd,, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery in Greene County.
