Danny “Boone” Frazier, 60, of Washington, died Monday, August 6, 2012, in Washington Hospital, surrounded by his family, following a brief, but courageous fight with cancer.
He was born on August 31, 1951, in Washington, a son of Dutch and Diane Frazier, who survive.
Mr. Frazier graduated from Trinity High School, class of 1970.
He was a Trinity High School Hall of Fame Wrestler.
He recently retired from Precision Marshall Industries.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved all animals. His passion was dog rescue and Muttley Crew Animal Rescue.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Natalie DeClair, a twin brother, David (Nancy) Frazier, a sister, Jodi (Jake) Pliska; 4 nieces, Alisha (Ben) DeLuca, Jennifer (Sammy) Morgan, and Morgan and Madison Pliska; great-nephews, Italo and Rocco DeLuca and great-nieces, Emma and Ruby Morgan.
He also leaves behind his beloved cats, Simon, Lovey and Gray.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Friends will be received on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests all memorial donations be mailed to Dave Frazier, 1440 Vista Valley Rd, Washington, PA 15301. All contributions will be made to Marcia and Boone’s Muttley Crew Animal Rescue.
