John E. Capo, 60, of Washington, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012. He was born July 30, 1951, in Washington, son of the late Patsy and Catherine Burgh Capo. Mr. Capo was a coal miner for Consol Energy and was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church. He coached TWIST softball and youth baseball and loved to hunt and fish. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Capo, whom he married February 27, 1971; a son, Johnny (Cortney) Capo; two daughters, Melissa Capo-Fahey and Kristy (David) Miklic; a brother, Patsy (Janet) Capo, all of Washington; two sisters, Sandra (Jerry) Smith of Brownsville and Brenda Alyea of Missouri; five grandchildren, Christian Capo, Shawn Fahey, Ethan Fahey, Kendle Haught and Liliana Capo. Deceased are a brother, Randy Capo; and three sisters, Joyce Blaisdell, Toni Gossett and Betty Linton. Friends will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, July 15th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery.
