Dorothy Jean Moore

Dorothy Jean Moore, 85, of Washington, died Monday, July 9, 2012, in Kade Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 17, 1927, in Washington, son of Thomas and Estella Ellwood McMullen. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was Protestant by faith. On March 11, 1946, she married Paul R. Moore, who died February 4, 1989. Surviving are a son, Thomas (Phyllis) Moore; daughters, Carol McCoy, Paula (Rich) Hallam, Lorain (Scott) Mayer and Tamzon (Dave) Perotta, all of Washington; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Sharon (Robert) McMillen; a brother, Glen McMullen; and a sister, Cora McMullen. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at Noon, Wednesday, July 11th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
