Douglas Keeton Alexander

Douglas Keeton Alexander, 47, of Claysville, formerly of Washington, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 26, 2010, at UPMC, Oakland. He was born on June 10, 1963, in Washington, a son of Keeton McArthur Alexander, of Arizona and Carol (George) Basara, of Cokeburg. He worked delivering cars, at Taylorstown Auto Auctions. Mr. Alexander enjoyed outdoor life, especially fishing and camping, and loved spending time with family and friends. Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his girlfriend, Amy Burnsworth, his maternal grandparents, Virginia and Wilburt Ruetschi, of Washington, a stepsister, Barb (Ron) Zelinsky, of Belle Vernon, and a sister, Sandra (Melvin) Cottrell, of Claysville. Deceased are his paternal grandparents, Orville and Lola Alexander. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
