Wilma Lyke McClay, 84, of Washington, died Monday, January 18, 2021, at her home. She was born August 18, 1936, in Washington, the daughter of the late William and Helen Davidson Lyke. She graduated from Trinity High School and worked in the Trinity High School print shop and as a receptionist at Presbyterian SeniorCare. Wilma loved to bake and do crafts, especially ceramics. In 1957 Wilma married Richard M. McClay, who died in 2006. Surviving are sons David Richard McClay of Washington and Jeffrey Scott McClay of Prosperity; a sister Carolyn (Richard) McVay of Washington; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Scott and Kerri; great-grandchildren Hattie, Scott, Wyatt, Zoey and Kevin; and many nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her sister Marylou Henderson. She was Protestant by faith. At the request of the deceased, all services were private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G.
