William H. Reese, Jr.

William H. Reese, Jr., 78, of Washington, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019, in Transitions Health Care. He was born May 25, 1941, in Washington, a son of the late William Reese, Sr., and Helen Henry Reese. Mr. Reese attended Washington High School and worked as a mold maker for Brockway Glass. He loved to sing, was an avid sports fan, especially of the Steelers and Pirates, and was a member of the Pulaski and Keystone Clubs. Mr. Reese loved his dog, Sassy. On August 3, 1974, he married Virginia Horner, who died June 5, 2015. Surviving are a daughter, Terri Cox of Houston; stepchildren, Robert Pattison and Pam (Earl) McGary, both of Washington; grandchildren, Leah Cox, Morgan, Mia and Jacob Pattison, and Amanda and Brittany McGary; great-grandchildren, Sevaun, Cameron, Ledean, Selayah, Gerald and Kendra; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are sisters, Betty Reese, JoAnn Mikus, Margie Dillie, and Nancy Ward. At the request of the deceased, services will be private.
