William P. Jessop, Jr.

William P. Jessop, Jr., 84, of Scenery Hill, passed away in the Greenery Center in Canonsburg. He was born June 16, 1939, a son of the late William P. Jessop, Sr., and Jean Ballentyne Jessop. William was a 1958 graduate of South Hills High School. He served with the United States Air Force. Following his service, he was a machinist and retired from Penn Mould. On May 1, 1965, he married Patricia Kennelly, who passed away on September 9, 2016. He enjoyed hockey, hunting, camping, and all other sports. William is survived by his daughter, Christine (Jeffrey) Rybarski; a brother, Charles (Virginia) Jessop; a friend Dorothy Riedel; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Finlay. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in memory of William Jessop, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1pm in the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 480 PA-519, Eighty-Four, PA 15330. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray. Arrangements are entrusted to William G.
