William M. Brenner, 91, of Prosperity, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Transitions Health Care, Washington. He was born March 28, 1933, a son of the late Harold Martin and Jean Wiegel Brenner. Bill graduated from Trinity High School in 1951 and went on to attend Penn State. He was employed by Columbia Gas as a communication technician. Bill was a member of the North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church. He served in Army Intelligence during the Korean War. Bill loved beekeeping, car races, computers, camping, hanging out with grandkids, bowling, and watching the Steelers and Pirates. On November 22, 1956, he married Barbara Lee Hartzell, who died on September 10, 2018. Surviving are four daughters, Sharon (John) Kuhn of Prosperity, Vicki (Matt) Miller of Lewes, Delaware, Sandy (James) Wilkinson of Washington, and Pam (Ron) Thompson of Washington; 15 grandchildren, Jessica, Kristi, Mikey, Dylan, Billy, Lindsey, Kaycee, Dalton, Connor, Tamara, Cody, Mackenzie, Johnny, Vanessa and Brian; 25 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Ava, Isla, Eden, Miriam, Brynn, Skye, Myka, Elle, Cash, Stone, Casen, Levi, Remmie, Jake, Chevy Mae, Rylee, Rhett, Riker, Mia, River, Liam, Kade, Krew and August; a brother, Richard Brenner; a niece Debbie; and a nephew, Brian. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Micah Yarger officiating.
