William Lawrence “Bill” Quinn, 73, of Washington, died May 17, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born December 4, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late Martin J. Quinn, Jr., and Frances Rogers Quinn. Mr. Quinn graduated from Washington High School and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He also served 23 years as part of the 171st Air Refueling Wing in the Air National Guard, retiring as a Master Sergeant. In addition, he was a retired civilian from the 911th Airlift Wing, where he worked as a contracting specialist. An avid sports fan, he loved bowling and visiting his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed attending concerts with his wife, Cyndi. On June 20, 2018, he married Cynthia Foringer Musgrave, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Ryan (Jill) Quinn and Heather (Brian) Foster; two stepchildren, Carrie Musgrave and J.D. Musgrave; four grandchildren, Ian and Kye Foster, and Willow and Amelia Quinn; siblings, Peggy Quinn Palfi, Mike (Mary Lee) Quinn, and Pat (Linda) Quinn; step-siblings, Bonnie (Bo) Woods and John (Joan) Sakerka; step sister-in-law, Janet Sakerka; a nephew, Andrew (Leigh) Palfi; several additional nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Sharon Quinn; and countless other family members and friends. Deceased are a sister, Jeanne Lee Lewis, and a stepbrother, Joe Sakerka. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 26th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, May 27th. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
