William O. “Bill” Barnhart, 87 of Washington, died Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Washington Hospital. He was born November 11, 1932 in Greene County, the son of the late Woodrow Barnhart and Dorothy Hewitt Barnhart. Bill attended Richill High School and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Bill was a truck driver and enjoyed home renovations, working on old cars and watching John Wayne and Audie Murphy western movies on TV. He loved to plant hostas and marigolds and his grand dog “Brutus”. On December 29, 1988, he married Linda Alloway, who survives. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Tom West) Barnhart; surviving from a previous marriage are six children, William E. Barnhart, Kevin R. Barnhart, Cindy L. Pratt, Rebecca S. Barnhart, Dorothy L. “Dotti” Work, and Kathy J. Sladky; a brother, Robert D. Barnhart; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Jack L. and Ray L. Barnhart. At the request of the deceased all services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G.
