Virginia Shrontz Coffield

Virginia "Ginny" Coffield, 83, of Washington, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Premier Washington Health Center. Ginny was born in Washington, a daughter of the late Thomas McClellan and Olive Williams Shrontz. She was a 1955 graduate of Trinity High School. She most recently worked at Presbyterian Senior Care. Ginny was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards with her card club, cooking and baking for her family, and spending time with friends and family. She was of Protestant faith, and demonstrated it daily through her care of her family and friends and anyone who came to visit. She had a generous, caring spirit and truly put the comfort of others above her own. She will be dearly missed. Surviving are a son Kurt (Deirdre) Coffield of Rock Hill, SC; a daughter Lisa (Dirk) DePaoli of Washington; brother William (Sandra) Shrontz; sisters Debra Kay Burt of Houston and Zeta Shrontz of Washington; grandchildren Zachary and Shane Coffield, Joshua Wright, Justin (Megan) DePaoli; great grandchild Nora DePaoli; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law Frances (the late Richard) Shrontz.
