Victor William Riser, Jr., 64, of Washington, died on June 4, 2021, in the Washington Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1956, in Washington, a son of Betty Lee Schaffer Riser, and the late Victor William Riser, Sr. A graduate of Washington High School, he was a member of Glen Street Free Methodist Church. Mr. Riser worked as a finisher for ten years at J&L Steel, and for thirty-five years at Washington Tool and Machine. An avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Victor was a good cornhole player, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Roger L. (Barbara) Riser, of Meadowlands, and Kenneth E. Riser, of Washington; a sister, Jo Ann (Bernard) VanBriggle, of Washington; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and his longtime companion, Debbie McMasters. Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021, with Pastor Paul Drewer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, Box 66, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
