Van Alan Davison, 68, of Washington, died on May 5, 2022, in East Liverpool Hospital, Ohio. He was born on July 6, 1953, in Washington, a son of the late Lawrence and Alberta Williams Davison. Van was a graduate of Washington High School, where he was on the wrestling team. He had worked as a personal caregiver. An avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Van loved to read, and spend time with family and friends. Surviving are two sons, Rashad Davison and Spencer Ellis; a daughter, Vanessa Davison; a brother, Ronnie Davison; three sisters, Jean Hall, Nancy Lockhart, and Joyce Davison; two grandchildren, Skylar Ellis and Nia Marie Davison; many nieces and nephews; his life partner, Roberta Booker; the mother of two of his children, Genie Prigrom; and lifelong friends, Junie Thomas, Dean Ellis, Fuddy Bryant, and George Bryant. Deceased are two brothers, Chucky and Tommy Davison. A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the time of a Memorial Service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, with Rev. Lance Whitlock officiating.
