Tristan James Plitt

Tristan James Plitt, 13, of Washington, died on August 23, 2022, in Tennessee. He was born on October 21, 2008, in Pittsburgh, beloved son of Gregory G. and Melinda Denke Plitt. Tristan was baptized at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church. A very bright and intelligent young man, Tristan was on the seventh grade Honor Roll at Trinity Middle School, and was excited about moving up to the eighth grade this year. He loved working and playing on computers, and especially enjoyed working with the Linux operating system. Nintendo Switch was one of his favorite pastimes, and some of his games of choice were Sonic, Mario Brothers, Zelda and Pac Man. Working with model trains was one of his favorite hobbies, and he loved swimming, camping and spending time outdoors. Tristan loved pets, and adored his dog, Evee, and his cats, Rosie, Fluffy, Sabrina and Marshmallow. Surviving are his sister, Anastasia Goldie Plitt; maternal grandparents, Al C. Denke, of Eighty Four and Caren G. Denke, of Florida; paternal grandmother, Connie Stathis, of Bethel Park; uncle and aunt, Eric and Holly Denke; and cousins, Kayla and Austin Denke. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., the time of service, in William G.
