Thelma Jane Finch, 91, of Washington, died on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in the Washington Hospital. She was born on November 23, 1926, in Ninevah, a daughter of the late A.R. and Kitsey Rush McCullough. A 1946 graduate of Waynesburg High School, she was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian church. Mrs. Finch had worked for Tygart Valley, and later for Brockway Glass, from where she retired. She was very active in her church, and was one of the first three women Elders to serve. Thelma also volunteered at Presbyterian Senior Care. On August 23, 1956, she married Robert Eugene Finch, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Eileen Brumage, of Waynesburg, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Deceased are a brother, Rush McCullough, and two sisters, Louise “Bee” Beabout and Virginia Remlay. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 9:30 a.m., with Rev. Donna Christopher officiating. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
