Terry Lee Pettit

Terry Lee Pettit, 60, of Washington, died July 17, 2022, in North Strabane Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, Canonsburg. She was born November 2, 1961, in Washington, the daughter of the late John Allen Pettit and Constance Joanne McConnell Pettit. Terry was a 1979 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Indiana University of PA. She worked as a cashier and garden associate at Home Depot. She enjoyed reading and gardening, was an animal lover, and especially loved her cats. While studying for her black belt in Taekwondo, she enjoyed working with the youth. Terry is survived by two sisters, Chrystal Ott (Timothy), of Quincy, IL, and Kelly Rothermund (Brian), of Washington; aunts and uncles, Linda Pettit Riggans, of Washington, Frances Loar (the late Jack), of Dubois, and Colleen Johnson (Tim), of St. Clairsville, OH; niece, Alex Avril (Ryan); nephews, Timothy Ott, Jr. (Monika Bush), Ian Rothermund, and Michael Ott; and many beloved cousins. Friends and family will gather Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, for visitation, followed by a memorial service in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty-Four, PA 15330.
