Tanalea Clouser

Tanalea G. Henderson Clouser, 74, of Washington, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was born October 13, 1949, in Washington, a daughter of the late Madison M. White and Dora “Grace” Anderson White. Tanalea was a graduate of Trinity High School and later earned an associate degree. She was employed at Washington Hospital as a dietary aide and retired after 40 years. Tanalea was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church in Triadelphia, WV. She loved music, especially gospel, and camping at Big Bear Lake. She never missed any sporting events or any other events for her children and grandchildren. She loved bowling and appeared twice on the Bowling for Dollars television show. She was the most caring and genuine person you could have ever been lucky enough to meet. Tanalea was married to Robert Ray Henderson, who passed away September 2, 2000. On June 30, 2001, she married Carl “Ed” Clouser, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael J. (Shana) Henderson and Raymie J. (Stacy) Henderson; a daughter, Stacey L. (Sam) Horr; two sisters, Arlene (the late Ed) Kerns and Kathy (the late Jim) Prigg; 10 grandchildren, Nicole (Dylan) Villarreal, Jacob Henderson, Austin Henderson, Jordan Henderson, Faith Henderson, Gianna Henderson, Leilani Henderson, Kacie (Bryan) Jenkins, Traylea Horr and Laban Horr; and five great-grandchildren, Nora Villarreal, Owen Villarreal, Raiden Henderson, Briella Saffell and Kaylee Jenkins. Deceased are siblings Louise Clemens, James M. White, Mae Read, Gerry Duda and Randy White, and two grandchildren, Trevor Horr and Levin Horr. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, where services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024. Entombment will be held in Forest Lawn Gardens Mausoleum.
