Sydney Lorraine Lightfoot, 55, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Washington, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born on August 1, 1962, in Washington, a daughter of the late Delores Chandler Lightfoot, Sidney W. Lightfoot, and Leroy Booker, whom she considered her second father. Sydney owned and operated a daycare for many years, and also worked for a job training agency in Washington and Donora. A fun-loving person, who loved to laugh, Sydney loved kids, and enjoyed life, and bringing smiles to everyone. Other favorite pastimes included doing puzzles, and going to bingo and the casino. Surviving are her fiancé, Bryan Ruth, of Pittsburgh; a son, Stuart L. Johnson, Jr. (Stacie), of Uniontown; two daughters, Serena L. Johnson (Chris Hampton), of Pittsburgh, and Terra-Shea Humphrey (Harlan), of Pittsburgh; a brother, James Lightfoot (Helen Whiteside), of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Stacey Lightfoot, of Washington, Sharon Lightfoot-Dyson (Robert), of New Jersey, and Brenda Lightfoot, of Washington; four grandchildren, Shamar Lee Wade, Kaylee Yanosky, Stuart L. Johnson, III and Samuel Johnson; a dear friend, Stuart L. Johnson, Sr., of Pittsburgh; nieces and nephews, Chante Dyson, Amari Lightfoot, Landi Smith and Lynzi Smith; as well as many other loving friends and family. Deceased is a son, Sidney M. Johnson, and a nephew Orlando Anderson. Friends will be received on Sunday, March 25, 2018, from 12 to 2 p.m., and 4 to 5 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA.
