Susan L. Jenkins

Susan L. Jenkins, 71, of Washington, died November 9, 2023, in the Washington Hospital. She was born February 24, 1952, in Washington, the daughter of the late Lloyd Clemens and Elda Marie Newman Farley. Susan was a stay-at-home mom who loved raising her children and was very close with her grandchildren. She later worked for and retired from housekeeping at the Washington County Courthouse. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and loved talking on the phone. On August 1, 1969, Susan married Larry S. Jenkins, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Larry S. Jenkins, Jr. (Nora), of Lone Pine, Kevin R. Jenkins, of Washington; daughter, Chrissie M. Berry (Matthew), of Amity; brother, Lloyd Clemens, Jr. (Vera); sister, Joyce Murr (Don); grandchildren, Larry S. Jenkins, III (Laurel), Rachel R. Hildebrand (Michael), Samantha L. Jenkins (Greg Hubley), Surri Lynn Jenkins, Cody R. Jenkins (Lexie Grode), Matthew A. Berry, Jr., Jessica R. Berry, Julie A. Jenkins, Dawson A. Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Julius, Larry IV, Raelynn, Blaine, Braylee, Camreigh, and Layni; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Byers. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 10 am until 1 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. The service will be at 1 pm with Juanita Hanning officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
