Steven Wayne Fonner, 54, of Washington, died August 2, 2021, at Washington Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born November 21, 1966, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Ruth D. Jones Glunt (Randy) of Washington, and the late Roger W. Fonner. Steven was a 1984 graduate of Trinity High School and worked as a machinist for Lincoln Manufacturing, Meadowlands. He proudly served his country from 1985-1988, in the US Navy on nuclear warship, USS Nimitz. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, joy rides on the back roads, and spending time in his shed with friends. He loved family, holiday picnics, vacations to the beach, riding his Harley Davidson Road King, and coaching softball for his daughter. He was a very loving husband, father, son, and brother. On July 18, 2016, Steven married Kimberly A. McKee, who survives. Also surviving is daughter, Morgan R. (fiancé Cody Reihner) Fonner, of Washington; brothers, Tony (Debi) Fonner, and Toby (Jody) Fonner, of Washington; sisters, Lisa (Donnie) Irey, and Davi “Ranae” (Bill) Edgar, of Amwell; niece and nephews, Frank Morris, Nick Morris, Will Edgar, Luke Edgar, Faith Edgar, Dalton Fonner, Jake Fonner, and numerous additional nieces and nephews.
