Stephanie Ruth Blazer

Stephanie Ruth Blazer, 69, of Washington County, died May 12, 2020, in her home. She was born March 29, 1951, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late William Nassan and Clementine Bentlejewski Nassan. Mrs. Blazer was a graduate of Bishop Canevin High School and worked as an optician for eye surgeons for 20 years. She collected dolls and belonged to doll clubs, and loved walking and gardening. On September 5, 1981, she married James "Doug" Blazer, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael Roach of Scott Township; five sisters, Diane (Bob) Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina, Janice (William) Hoover of McLean, Virginia, Susie Tague of Brookline, Alice Nassan of Pittsburgh, and Mariann Ergosus of Saudi Arabia; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Valerie Nassan. Due to crowd restriction guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, no public visitation or services will be held.
