Stanley Grabiak, Jr., 86, of Washington, died Monday, December 14, 2020, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born September 11, 1934, in Horning, a son of the late Stanley Grabiak, Sr., and Evelyn Quillen Grabiak. Mr. Grabiak attended East Washington High School, where he played football for the Galloping Ghosts. He worked at Fort Pitt Bridge Works in Canonsburg and Plasteel Products in Washington. He was a member of Christian Church of North America. Mr. Grabiak was an avid dart ball player and bowler for many years and enjoyed playing softball when younger. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and watching Steelers football. Mr. Grabiak loved music and playing guitar with his brother in a band. He also loved playing the guitar with his grandson. Always the life of the party, he was hilarious and so much fun to be around. On July 5, 1958, he married Virginia Holmes, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Stanley Grabiak III of Washington and John (Lynn) Grabiak of Avella; two daughters, Eileen (Paul) Sivie and Beth (Ed) Alexy, both of Washington; a brother, Ron Grabiak of Washington; a sister, Colleen (Don) Mansfield of Washington; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, William Grabiak. A memorial service will be held in his church at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
